Not sure about her arm
I just adopted a kitten from PetSmart (BARC) about a week and a half ago. She is 4 months old. I noticed she had some little scab on her little head but I never noticed anything else. Now she has a little black on her nose (not sure what that is) and her forearm of a front leg has some hair missing and it looks like a patch has grown back. I don't recall seeing it before but then again I never really looked. I can see a little of the skin under. Should I take her to the vet or just give it another week?

relatively new cat owner....need help
I have an 8month old cat. I'm planning on getting him neutered very soon but he's decided to take off for a few days. It has been over two days in fact. My neighbor called today to say that he saw him in his back yard. So I know he's alive.
Will he come back? He's been raised outside but I have brought him in every now and again for freezing temps. He likes being inside. Overall, is it better to have him in for the night and out for the day?
Maybe I'm overly worried.

Cat fever
I just adopted a 2 mo. old kitten from the animal shelter...3 days later she is dead from cat fever. What do I need to do to be sure a new kitten does not get the same disease? I was told to disinfect everything, but what about furniture? At what age do their vaccinations make them immune? How soon is it safe to get another one? And last, but not least, where is the safest place to go to adopt? Please help...I really want another one soon....and so does my dog! Thanks for any help. Charlene
House Plant Care
Hi, I am hearing impaired, I don't want you guys confused or understand me. I has trouble with sentence that way i was use American sign language sentence. I hope you guys understand me and I am REALLY need BIG HELP! I has House plant hang by my home and ivy leg was grow longer, but I decide took leg and wrap around plant, But My 2 month old Kitty, Max, was wild and took plant and damage it all. since 2 week. I notice my plant is going died because turn yellow. I keep told Max, No. But He love to play and pull one of leaf.
FIP
Has anyone had to deal with their cat having FIP? I did many years ago but she also had Leukemia. I have a female Tortoiseshell cat that is 1 1/2 years old. When she was a kitten, she sneezed alot and I was told that she had an upper respiratory infection and that it wouldn't go away but was not fatal. Even though she had that, she still played like a normal kitten. Now she doesn't play at all. I also have a tom cat about the same age and he tries to play with her but she just hisses at him. She lays around alot but doesn't really act lethargic.
Poor dry-heaving kitty
My Nino is just over 2 years old, and has had dry heaves at least once a day for his entire life. I have seen the vet about this three times - the first time, he took x-rays to make sure there were no obstructions, and everything was fine. The second time had me try a hypo-allergenic food for severl weeks, but there was no relief for Nino. And the third time he just kind of threw his hands up, and recommended some hair ball treatments. I tried two different treatments and brush him at least daily religiously, but nothing has changed.
