Daschund
I have a Daschund who is 13 yrs old whom I love very much. He just got weighed and is 20.3 lbs compared to 18.7lbs back in May '09 and I give him a little bit of pumpkin mixed with some carrots,peas and sometimes beans. I also get frozen vegtables mixture of broccoli, cauliflower,and carrots and gie them to him frozen.
I am trying ecerything my Vererinarian has suggested,but can't seem to get him to loose weight back down to 17lbs.
Anyone have same problem or suggestions how to help him lose weight.
just a big cat or really overweight?
i could really use some advice for my cat..he's 3 yrs old and at his last check-up he weighed in @ 17lbs..way too much according to my vet, so my vet strongly urges me to put him on a diet of cat food from the clinic(Hill's Prescription Diet)..BooBoo(my cat) has been on it since May of this yr and has not lost anything in terms of weight..he was neutered when he was 8 mths old and was a svelt 9 lbs b4 he got snipped..am i just waisting my money on a food that's not going to work?..i'm paying just over $60 for a 10kg bag but i had a friend who's got like 3-4 cats and he suggested i try Science

I have an eleven year old cat , Rose , and she has been going through stages where she pukes up her food a few times a week and then she's fine until like a month later. she only pukes up food though , not stomach acid or anything like that but i dont know what to do. Should i try switching her food or should i take her to the vet?
