Whippet
Whippets are gentle dogs that love to curl up under blankets. They have a tendency toward nervousness and are timid around strangers. Whippets need long walks and runs. They usually gets along well with dogs and cats, but should be watched around rabbits and rodents. They're sometimes hard to housebreak.
Scottish Deerhound
Scottish Deerhounds are quiet, gentle and easy-going. They like running and are most at home in the country. Scottish Deerhounds usually get along fine with other dogs, but they're sometimes aggressive with cats and rabbits. They're stubborn dogs that are hard to housebreak.

Saluki
Two varieties of Saluki are available: Feathered Saluki and Smooth Saluki.
Salukis are quiet, gentle and calm. They're agile jumpers that need lots of running exercise. Salukis are timid with strangers. They get along well with other dogs, but they're sometimes aggressive with cats and rabbits. Salukis are sometimes hard to housebreak. Professional obedience training is highly recommended.
Pharaoh Hound
Pharaoh Hounds are playful, lovable and athletic. They're great jumpers that need lots of running exercise. Pharaohs are suspicious of strangers, and sometimes aggressive toward small animals. Some breeders say this breed blushes when it's excited --i ts nose, ears and eyes turn pink.
Plott Hound
Plott Hounds are intelligent and alert. They're barkers and noted for their stamina. They need lots of exercise or they'll become destructive. They're often aggressive with other animals and suspicious of strangers.
Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen
Petit Bassets are enthusiastic little dogs that are a great deal of fun to have around. They're friendly with strangers, kids and other pets. They like to jump, bark and dig.

Norwegian Elkhounds are confident, alert and independent. They love to be outdoors, especially in cold weather. They're sometimes aggressive with other dogs and love to bark.
