As long as you are playing with him, your Bichon will enjoy about any doggy type activity in which you engage. They like chasing balls, catch, playing with squeaky toys, and a good game of tag or chase. Bichons particularly seem to like to play hide and seek, which is also an excellent way to teach the "Come" command. Hide while your dog is not looking, then softly call him to come. When he finds you, give him a treat.
Bichons also like to search for hidden treats. Any game that utilizes their sense of smell is fun for them. For non-dominant dogs, a careful game of tug is also pleasurable entertainment. A soccer ball game you can try is to stand in a door and, using your foot, roll a ball toward your Bichon. When he tries to come through the doorway, roll the ball back away from him.
