I have a 8 month old chihuahua/jack russell, we love him dearly. Our problem w/ him is his licking (we call them kisses) but he loves to give kisses and a lot of them, he will even try to put his tongue in our mouths (yuck). What can we do to get him to stop licking so much, we are okay w/ a few kisses but he goes over-board. He'll even give strangers kisses too and they won't hold him long because of the many kisses he gives. Please help!!!!

That's funny, my 2yr old coonhound is the same way. She just looks so hurt when we push her away after we've had enough kisses, but it gets to a point where it is aggravating...
Push him away enough and it will work though

One of my dogs is exactly the same as yours :-) She loves to give kisses to the point you can't stand it anymore! You just have to be firm with him.... after a couple kisses says "no more kisses" and put him down on the floor. I also put my hand in front of my face as I'm saying it so there is a visual message too. Do this repeatedly and he will (hopefully) get the message. Be sure that your friends do the same thing. I wish you luck :-)
