Hello, I am writing this as a tribute to our dog Benny who passed away on September 4, 2008, at the young age of 8. He suddenly fell ill to a cancerous tumor and had to be put asleep. He was an adopted from a rescue shelter for abused dogs. He was a handful at the beginning, he did not trust people at all, but got along with our chow Dusty. It was love at first sight with those two. Benny was the outdoors type and Dusty wanted to be indoors, but Dusty put up with the outside because of Benny. She has been looking for him since that day and all we can do is give her some extra TLC. We all miss him dearly and not a day goes past without someone in the family saying, remember when Benny.... We just wanted to honor him and know that we think of him all of the time. Bye Ben, we miss you and love you.

You rescued Benny and gave him a good life, so be joyful for that :-) He's at the Rainbow Bridge now....waiting for you. I truly believe we will see all our pets one day when we join them in the hereafter. My vet suggested that when a pet has to be put to sleep you should bring the other pets so they can say their "goodbye" and understand that the other pet has died. Then they mourn but understand what happened to their "friend". God bless :-)
