With the economy in such a mess and everyone is counting pennies, please don't forget about the animals at the shelters.
They are abandoned, abused, or lost and they deserve a second chance for life. Please stop by the shelter of your choice TODAY and donate to save a life.

Well, guess what? In December I adopted an abused beagle who had NO fur and he had raw skin. It was a poor sight. We felt bad, and nobody wanted him, so we decided, Hey let's save his life! So we adopted him, he was free, because he was so sick, now he's on medication still, getting better, and he has all his fur back except a little bit of fur on his chest just below his head. His name is Sammy. I am proud and i am happy. He is the most calmest nicest dog i ever saw. Now, i own him!!!!!!!! I love him so much, Please people, you might like those little fancy pups, but take a few minutes out of your time and think about all those helpless poor animals almost dying out there. Think.

Please visit's Houdini the Great in the Adoption section. He was found in Arlington Texas at night on a busy street. I turned him over to the Arlington Animal Shelter in hopes his owner would claim him. Noone ever came to claim this old gentleman. Two days after his waiting period, he was put up for adoption. Two days later adopter filled out an adoption form. At that point the procedure is to test for heartworms. Poor Houdini showed HW Positive. At that time the adopters decided not to adopt. I was notified the next business day, he would be PTS. I was at the shelter at 10:00 the next day to save this sweet old guy and make sure he has a change with responsible owners. This guy was neglected in every way possible. He was thin, infested with fleas and flea poo, has a bacteria infection from the fleas that made him itch constantly, double ear infections and had never been neutered. God only knows how many litters he sired since he has proved to be a master at escape up to the time I had him neutered.

I have 4 of my own rescued shelter dogs. Each of them grateful and full of personality. I also have 4 re-homed parrots from Wings of Love Bird Haven which is a parrot rescue in Red Oaks Texas.
Don't BREED or BUY while Shelter pets DIE
Don't LITTER-Spay & Neuter!
Don't SHOP-ADOPT! :)
