Training your dog for therapy is actually relatively simple if he's fairly well behaved overall. There are certain requirements that he must meet. Like enjoying being around people, having good leash manners, maintaing good behavior around other dogs, etc. I actually looked into getting my dog certified at one point, but she's occasionally tempermental around other dogs, so she wouldnt qualify.

Now, I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the certification process is different depending on what state you live in; so you'd have to look into that. But good luck with everything! I think it's great that you want to get into this!
