I'm doing some research for my senior honors thesis on pet ownership. I am interested in finding out what first-time pet owners wish they had known before getting their pet and using that information to help others who are considering pet ownership. Help me out by completing this short survey:

It would be interesting to see the data here when you're done. Also, one question asks about a fenced yard (with a yes/no answer). There are other areas to run in addition to a fenced yard - open land wouldn't have a fence and yet, it would be a large, safe place for a dog to run and romp.
Hi, My friend was training a service dog and when they only had a cats and this was going to be the first experince with a dog. Make sure that if you are getting a big dog to provide enough chew toys and defintley put all of your shoes away. My friend hadmany shoes destroyed.Hopes it helps.
