does any one have any suggestions, i have had my dog for 14 yrs, and now she seems to have a problem #2, i took her to the vet which he gave her 3 enamas and she will use the #2 but not very much, we have tried laxatone from the vet, mineral oil, and just tonight we use a liquid de-wormer hoping this will work, what else can we do, is there an enama we can buy and use on her and if so, where do i find something like that. i would appreciate any suggestions. thanks. joytob 09/11/09 friday.

My cat is a wonderful cat, She is very well loved is a cat that loves attention, She is hyper but has her mellow moments.

Did the vet give you some reason why he thinks your dog is having a hard time going #2? Could she possibly have a blockage? Did they take any X-rays? I put a small amount of canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)in the dog food and add a little water. It has a lot of fiber. She needs a good checkup since she's a senior and maybe a food change. Good luck.
