I have an 11 week old puppy who seems to be smelling
our other dog (who we lost 7 weeks ago)in the house and is wetting or the other where this dog used to sleep.
Any suggestions?

You need to completely clean the area where the other dog was with an enzymatic (like Nature's Miracle).
You can also use one of those pet urine removal sprays; it disinfects the area and removes all traces of the smell so other dogs can't pick up on it. It's pretty cheap; and you can even get it at walmart. I use it and it's great!
