HELP!!!!!!! MIA MY BLOODHOUND CHEWS ON ANYTHING SHE CAN GET TO THINGS THAT NORMAL DOGS CAN'T GET TO SHE HAS EATING SOME OF MY SHIRTS,WIRE, SUN TAN LOTION THATS IN A BOTTLE,EARPHONES ECT. I COULD GO ON FOR HOURS. SHE CHEWS WHEN SHE HAS NOTHING TO DO EVEN WHEN THERE ARE TOYS IN THE ROOM FOR HER.
IVE GOTTEN HER SOME OF THOSE THINGS THAT YOU STUFF WITH TREATS BUT SHE STAYS WITH THAT FOR ABOUT 10 MIN AT THE MOST. SHE ALWAYS CHOKES ON BONES ALWAYS. SHE GET ALOT AT A TIME SHE LIKE THE BONES CALLED B NYLABONE HEALTHY EDIBLES. BUT THERE 8 DOLLARS FOR ONE. AND SHES EATS IT IN ONE DAY.
PLEASE I NEED SOMTHING THAT SHE CAN CHEW ON FOR A LONG LONG TIME. AND THAT SHE CAN BE LEFT WITH BECAUSE SHE IS ALONE AT TIMES. AND NOT THAT EXPENSIVE.
Have you tried those large rope chews? They might last a little longer.

I woyld help if I could but I have a chihuahua and dont know why dogs chew I am lucky if she chews her toys or a old shoe.

This sounds weird but my boyfriend and I went to auto junk yard and got pieces of old seat belts and tied them into knots and gave to our dog to chew on. That stuff is pretty durable and we could also use it as a tug toy. I would just recommend washing it beforehand to make sure there is nothing harmful for the dog on it. I also want to experiment with flavoring it...somehow!
