I've got a 5 year old toy pom, she has for the past 4 days before I've gotten home pooped on the carpet, I locked her in the kitchen with gate and she pooped on the floor in the kitchen. She's never done this before, and she goes out on a regular basis, I don't know what else to do can anyone give good advice?

Heh, it may be separation anxiety. If she acts nervous or aggitated whenever you leave her, and she always has to be near you, that's probably why she's doing this. Coddling her will never make it better. Setting ground rules is a step... like no human food, not allowing her on the furniture, whatever. And not making a big scene when you leave and come home should help as well. Maybe just praise her once when you leave, and let that be it. Also, if you catch her in the act, dont yell & scream at her. Just scoop her up, set her outside and praise her once she's in the grass. It's never a good idea either to scold her hours after it happened, like when you come home. Try ignoring her for awhile instead.

I know some of this may sound backwards, but dogs are pack animals. If you study how they react to one another in the wild, it'll help you understand how to react toward them in a domestic setting.

Hope this helps!
