When I first got one of my schnauzers he used to have that problem.. the vet recommended dramamine (sp?).. it's the same stuff people buy for motion sickness.. but, you'd have to ask a vet for dosing information. Mine grew out of it.. now he loves car rides.. hopefully it's just not used to it yet..

if its a small breed dog you might want to get a booster seat to raise the puppy up so it can see out the window. (vet told me this) some breeds are just prone to get motion sickness. My dogs are shipoos ahich are half poodles and poodles are prone to car sickness so my poor pups get sick everytime they get in the car. I am making them a booster seat out of my 10" leg pillow though so hopefully that will help. It will have a seatbelt area and a place to hook the seatbelt into the harness so they will be well protected while looking out the window!!
