I need help!! I have a 2 1/2 year old female cat. She's a wonderful girl, very playful and funny. In the last month, however, we adopted a 6 mth. old kitten (female). We tried to follow the advise of slowly introducing them to each other. We even had the kitten in a separate room for about a month only bringing her upstairs for limited periods of supervised visits. But the older cat continues to hiss and growl at her anytime she's too close. Recently, the older cat has started to eat the kitten's food (all of it) and on a few occasions, chases the kitten down the stairs to the point that it takes extreme effort to get her to come back up. I'm a new pet owner and want to do what is right by both girls. Any advise in this situation?
