how many people does it take to trip my dogs claws ?

my gizmo

October 30, 2009 -

ok so i take my pug that weighs 18.3 lb to petsmart this morning to have his nails clipped ... we go in a room and then the nurse comes in and talks to my dog ok so far .... then he is picky about his feet so she struggles a little with him the on her own choose instead iof letting us hold him takes him in the back and her and the vet force my dog on his side to clip his nails i can hear my puppy yelping all the way in the next room ... then after she is done she comes back in and tells me that this is what we should do with him and proceeds to grab his feet and force him on his side on the metel table ... at this point i am pissed .... then she tells us it will be $10 for his nails... ok as long as i am out of here ok whatever i get to the counter and the girl tells me $23.50 i am like what ??? i ask why she says 13.50 for agressive restraint , meaning they had to hold him down to clip his nails rather than use a buffer like they did the time before , and that she broke a nail and got a scratch on her arm so she should be compensated for having to restrain him ... one she never told me it would be more to take him in the back i can keep my dog calm and two hello you work with dogs all day long is getting scratch noit part of your job ??? that is like a dentest putting his fingers in a kids mouth and sueing you cause the kid bit you .... come on really ... then the nurse came out and said it is a valid charge that she broke a nail and got scratched and if i refused to pay it it would go on my credit . i asked for a manager i get the vet that then tells me she got scratched too and when she shows me her arm it did not even break the skin it was a little red ... so i agrue my fact and get told that they do not have to tell us upfront that they will charge us extra... so we go back and forth a little bit then her words were i guess we have no choice but to take the charge off this time but it will be charged next time .... my thought come on i have a 18 lb pug my 14 year old could hold him still .... as any normal person in a mood would i call my bff and find out that when she took her 6 lb maltis up there they tried the same thing with her and they charged her extra cause it took more than one person to hold her 6 lb dog down come on really ... needless to say i willn ot be going back .
