Sic 'Em Boys: Please Let the Dogs Out
October 21, 2009 -
As a child I grew up loving and living with animals especially dogs. I had two dogs when I was a child, a pit bull named Max and a German Shepherd named Hooch. They were always fooling around and messing up the house which always got me in trouble with my parents. I always end up cleaning their mess and getting reprimanded by my mother who wants our house immaculately clean and free from dog drool and other nasty mess. When I walk them, I always end up running because they are so strong and frisky like newborn colts in a wide farm. But I love them with all my heart even if they cause so much trouble especially in our neighbours lawns. Max is an excellent guard dog, alert and suspicious of every new face that comes near our house. Hooch is more of a herder, taking care of my little brothers and reprimanding Max when he gets rowdy and noisy with his incessant barking. They are more like family than pets and one thing I love about them is their loyalty. Friends can stab you in the back and do bad things to you but my dogs will always stand by my side and love me with all their hearts.
And so I was really shocked and appalled when my friends and I got hold of a video where people put bets on dogs in pit fighting We watched as two dogs in chains were placed in a makeshift pit, a huge whole dug in someone's backyard. After all bets were collected, the chains were released and the dogs fought each other to the death. Their was blood everywhere as the two ferocious dogs went at each others throat, puncturing deep and severing veins. In a matter of minutes, one dog lay lifeless and the other was badly mangled and injured beyond recognition. I was crying the whole time but the people in the video were laughing and high-fiving each other. Those jerks need to be put in prison; they are the animals and beasts that should be incarcerated and the animals that they possess should be freed and given appropriate shelter.
Thus, my friends and I arrived at the decision to make a difference. We all love animals and we have pets that we wouldn't think of putting through such atrocious and criminal games like dog fighting. When I am not contributing to essay writing services, I join my friends in the crusade to save battered and beaten animals from their beastly owners. We work hand in hand with local law enforcers and other concerned organizations to put these criminals behind bars. We are determined to make a difference for the sake of the animals who couldn't take care of themselves and voice out their concerns and pains. I just hope that I could sic Max and Hooch on some of these perpetrators and let them have a dose of their own deadly medicine. That'll be the day and I hope it comes soon.
