Chica is a Chihuahua from Houston Texas.

Nobody wanted poor little Chica. She was the runt of the litter with droopy ears and was very sick.
Other families passed her up and adopted the rest of the litter. All seemed lost. But then along came the Mireles Family. They loved her regardless and took her in.
Today she's healthy and full of life. She is intelligent, loves kids and is an excellent watchdog.

Chica was a contestant in the national "Million Dollar Cutest Dog Competition". She made it up to week 12 but was out voted.
But Chica still wants to bring attention to abandoned and abused dogs and other pets. "If an unwanted pup like me can find a family, I know others can too". Please don’t forget about my fellow pets and check out your local A.S.P.C.A. to see what you can do to help".

Chica wants to thank everyone who voted for her.
She obviously did not make the finals, but is still listed on the web site for various daily contests. If you wish to send her a hug every day, please feel free to do so.
