And The Winner Is....

Wow, what a turnout! Tuesday night was the most successful Howl-o-ween event we've ever had at the Alliance PetSmart! I almost fell out laughing at the creativity of the costumes! Some of those pets had to be earning some serious "cookie points" going out in public looking as funny as they did. One of my personal favorites had to be the mother and daughter that put a black and white striped hat on their finch (that's right, a tiny bird), put it in a cage, and decorated the cage to resemble at jail cell! Wanna guess what they called him? "Jailbird!" How clever is that? One pet parent walked in rocking a sombrero with a pinata in his arms. Oh wait, that wasn't a pinata, that was his papillon! That poor pooch looked like a she was in a full body cast and walked by an exploding Crayola factory! Very cute indeed. So, without any further adieu, the Grand Prize winner of the costume contest was....a 3-way tie!! Fortunately for Mom and Dad it was all in the same family. Gibbs "The Cowboy", Lola "the Cowgirl", and Riggins "The Horse" joined forces to claim the coveted prize! The competition was tough, but this group stood out, ears and tails above the rest!
