Chelsea gave me quiet a scare yesterday. We went to a field near our house and I took her off her lead, and this little girl thought it would be fun to take off running towards the street. Well, needless to say, she is quick. I took off running with her and she just wouldnt stop. I eventually got her and the lead went back on, I have learned my lesson.
The other thing that I learned was that Chelsea does not know she is Chelsea. I called her name and she just continued to run like the dickens. Today I started to teach her her name but she was totally uninterested. I need help. I can't wait to start puppy education. At this point it is necessary.

I strongly suggest Don Sullivan's "Secret Training the Perfect Dog" DVD. It's a little expensive but very effective. And on the DVD you will actually understand and learn more about their behavior. We baught a copy for our dogs and I am very impressed. Five minute is all you need on training.
