Starting this training thing over

If anything I can say, I'm glad she is so young. My poor Chelsea. I am really just trying to get this whole raising my puppy thing right. Today I remembered that I have to expose her to small spaces first, then bigger spaces. So we are starting over. She is going to spend more time in her playpen in the living room where she is able to play around and have a good nap when she feels the need. And we are also going to work on her going to her area in the back room for her potty spot which will hopefully turn into her litter box. Which will eventually turn into her room complete with litter box, bed, and window perch so she can look outside. Ahh progress please come by here.

I am also working on getting her used to her leash. She isn't learning anything if I continue to pick her up an take her to this area or that. So there are a lot of lessons going on at once, but in a few months she will be a bit older, a lot more mature and a little bit more independent. I am excited for her. Starting next week, we will try the bathroom as a nice area for her to spend her day when mommy is at work. Much more space, potty pad plus litter box, and she will still be able to hear the tv. It seems so much more appropriate for her and a little better for mommy too.
