Chelsea Got Sick

Oh my goodness! My poor baby got sick this week and we had an emergency vet day on Tuesday.  I'm not sure what happened but she started throwing up and having the poops so I, being a scared mommy, took her to the emergency vet.  Poor Hickory Vet Hospital, I was histerical.  I am not really good for keeping it together when faced with medical things.  They ran some tests and she was negative for everything, but I still cried my eyes out.  Even when the doctor came back and said "we are just going to keep her to give her some fluids and make sure she keeps her food down" I lost it.  The thing that didn't surprise me though was the estimate, it was sky high but I didn't even care. 

Fast forward to yesterday, she was discharged at 9:30 pm.  The doctor is not sure what could have caused her to get sick, but she got the all clear to come home.  The down side is: no puppy training, but thats okay.  Since she has been home she has been really clingy, as if to say " thank you Mommy for getting me better."  I know she is on the road to recovery though because when I tried to kiss her nose she tried to nip me.  Yeah we are still dealing with the nipping and teething.  She played with some of her toys and she was running around which means she is feeling soooo much better.  Ans to top it all off, the estimate was wrong, I only paid about half of the estimate and that was fine by me.
