Stranger Danger
July 13, 2009 -
I’ve had pregnant friends complain to me how aggravating it is when every person they encounter disregards all social graces and assumes it’s appropriate to touch their bellies. I get the same waves of awkwardness when strangers come up and pet my dogs without acknowledging me.
This baffles me, and it happens constantly. When I’m walking the dogs in the neighborhood or have them out running errands with me, people approach them and start petting and talking to them, without so much as a glance in my direction.
I get that maybe you’re more of a dog-person that a people-person, but don’t overlook me like I’m wearing Harry Potter’s invisibility cloak. I am just as friendly as my dogs and I can also “shake” if prompted.
Fortunately, we also run into many people who are eager to chat with me and the puppers simultaneously, so all three of us have made new friends on our adventures.

I dont know about you but when I wanna pet dogs I ask the owner. and when I walk mini I make sure the person will ask me to pet her or I will walk away with mini.
I think its so RUDE. That would be like some one coming up to your kid and be playing with him/her with out you know who they are
