Hi! I am a new blogger here in Pets.com, and wanted to let you know a little bit about myself. Why In the Ring? Two reasons: 1) I have been the mom of Boxers for the last 15+ years 2) I have been showing said Boxers (and others) in obedience, agility and some conformation for the last 15 years as well. My four-legged family has consisted of: Lance - my first Boxer, he was a brindle. He lived until he was just over 12 years old. I showed him in obedience. Libby - my second boxer, a petite fawn female. She lived until she was just over 13 years old! I showed her in obedience, agility and conformation. Lacey - a powerhouse of a brindle boxer. She left me at the young age of 7 1/2. We enjoyed all three rings together as well. Lenny, my spunky, overly friendly Chihuahua that is just about to turn 8 years old. While I have never shown him, I have trained and did many fun runs in obedience and agility with him. Red - another beauty of a boxer that now lives in North Carolina. Ketu - a Tibetan Terrier puppy that is in-training to get ready to go out and show his stuff. Not to mention, I was always a sucker for picking up a stray dog on the side of the road or fostering a Boxer for one reason or another! I look forward to getting to know you more and sharing some of my experiences in the world of dog companionship, training and more!
