Sharing is overrated - I don't care what they say

Last night, I had a sleepover at my bestfriend's house.  Her parents went to a wedding so my mom and dad offered to stay there and take care of Niko and her brother Bentley.

Everything was going perfectly until my mom and dad came back from dinner.  We have a routine at home... mom lays on the couch and I find a spot smooshed up next to her.  With in seconds of her laying down - Niko stole my behind the knees spot and Bentley sat right on top of her.  There was no room at the inn. 

I think my mom felt badly so after about an hour of this nonsense, she and I went to bed.  She left the other fur-kids in the family room with my dad.  When my dad came to bed he brought Niko with him - the nerve of him.  

To make matters worse, Bentley decided to come to bed too.  Niko stole the spot next to my dad and Bentley wedged himself between everyone leaving me with about an inch of space at the bottom of the bed.

I spent the next few hours plotting my revenge.  Once everyone fell asleep, I made my move nudging Bentley out of the way.  He's a bit bigger than me so he really just moved over so I could cuddle with him.  I guess it was good enough.  He usually doesn't like me in his space.

I'm really tired from not sleeping a wink last night.  Next time we have a sleepover, I'm going to have a plan not to give up my spots! 

Even with my best friend - sharing is overrated.
