All Dressed Up with Somewhere to Go

It's Howl-O-Ween time around PetSmart, and after getting first glimpse at our costumes, I couldn't help myself but to start planning early this year.

Anna couldn't be happier with her pink, sparkly Ballerina tutu and Princess hat, but Precious is still out on what she wants to dress up as this year.

Precious isn't much for couture; she'd rather whip around her pumpkin-belly bobo than start to think about her Halloween kicks. I told her last night she better make up her mind soon, though. I think she's leaning toward a Halloween-themed collar.

We won't go trick-or-treating, but as much as they've been wanting to discover the contents of the big orange bowl on the entryway ledge, fun-sized candy bars for them will lead to super-size vet bills for me.

Instead, we'll go to the PetSmart Howl-O-Ween event and I'll give them doggie treats for their tricks. This will be Precious' first year for pictures and the costume parade, but Anna struts her stuff and definitely knows her way around posed photo shoots. I just wish there was a trick contest at the event this year; they can do anything for cookies.
