Catch me if you can

Pet:
As I was leaving for my morning run last Friday, Mogwai must have thought I needed some extra motivation because he bolted out of the front door right in front of me. To make matters worse, my neighbor’s black cat just so happened to be out in my front yard. I’m assuming Mogwai must have caught a glimpse of the kitty through the window. The cat ran and Mogwai was after her at full speed! My adrenaline pumping, I ran like lightning after him screaming his name at 6 am in the morning. I’m sure I woke half the neighborhood, but there’s nothing more important to me than my pup’s safety.
I cannot believe how fast that little bugger was! I’m so thankful that I was in my running shoes because I was able to trail him until I was able to corner him at a dumpster. I don’t think I’ve ever ran so fast in my life! I grabbed him by his gruff and he screamed like a drama queen! He was as terrified as I was. I snatched him and carried him all the way home.
My pups are microchipped which gives me some security in case they ever got lost. Have you ever lost a pet? What measures do you take to keep your pets’ safe? Share your stories and comments!

I had to let you know that I have a Japanese Chin with the same name, except its spelled Mugwai and he is black and white. When I first got him he use to do the same thing. Now if he gets out he comes right back. how long have you had Mogwai?
