Christmas at Huntington Dog Beach
December 28, 2009
In addition to their stockings, toys and bones, I wanted to give my pups a real adventure this year for Christmas. We spent Christmas day at Huntington Dog Beach in sunny Southern California. If you’ve never been, this beautiful place is best described as puppy paradise: a scenic, sandy beach where dogs free of their leashes can romp, play, splash …Read more »

How do I keep my dog from leaving his mark on the Christmas tree?
December 7, 2009
Christmas is in the air! I decided to deck the ‘howls’ this weekend, adorning my house with wreaths, garlands and statues of good ‘ol St. Nick. I have a beautiful tree this year—stunning white and gold ornaments, white lights and a lighted angel on top. The white tree skirt with gold trim really ties it all together. Just beautiful!

He has some of the weirdest potty habits. First, he will never go number 2 while on a walk or in front of people. Meanwhile, he lifts …Read more »
Catch me if you can
October 12, 2009
As I was leaving for my morning run last Friday, Mogwai must have thought I needed some extra motivation because he bolted out of the front door right in front of me. To make matters worse, my neighbor’s black cat just so happened to be out in my front yard. I’m assuming Mogwai must have caught a glimpse of the …Read more »
