About - Cat's Brat Pack

I credit The Brat Pack with the ongoing string of sometimes hilarious (sometimes stressful, sometimes just plain weird) events I refer to simply as: my life. I'll introduce the members of The Brat Pack first and one by one since life without them would be just plain boring. 

Lou, a 9-year-old Scottish Fold is the pet I most frequently find myself vying against for first position in The Brat Pack hierarchy. Though he's the only Brat Pack member of the feline persuasion, Lou is the boss of the bunch. If I had to describe him in one word it would be: unapologetic.

Ollie: At only two years old, this mini-cattle dog/Chihuahua/who-knows-what-else is an agility star, a budding apparel model (check out PetSmart.com to see his work), and enjoys herding anything from cats to kids.

Honey Pie: Honey Pie, a four-year-old Corgi mix, seems to have been put on this earth to teach me a few lessons (patience being first among them). Every day I learn something new about Honey Pie and every day she grows more and more dog-like (which is a great way to be if you ask me).

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention two additional members of the extended Brat Pack: Bear and Sammy. They're my sister's dogs but we frequently "pack up" and hit the dog park, the trails, or the city market together. We meet a lot of people along the way, mostly because of our dogs, and Lou always manages to come up in conversation. 

And lastly, there's me: I'm Cat. Working on the PetSmart Web team has been more than a job for me - it's been a safe haven in which I can address serious subjects such as Lou's never ending diet or Ollie's newest velour track suit without fearing so much as a sideways glance in return (usually). That's kinda how I envision this blog - it's the place I'll talk about my crazy life with The Brat Pack (and risk a few sideways glances along the way!).
